PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced General Laborers, Carpenter Helpers, and Carpenters to support commercial construction, cleanroom installation projects, and university facility developments.
Shift Schedule:
• 1st Shift
• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Duties:
• Perform framing, layout, and general carpentry work in commercial construction environments
• Install wall systems, ceilings, panels, and structural components according to project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction layouts
• Assist lead carpenters with site preparation, material handling, and daily construction tasks
• Measure, cut, and fasten wood and other materials under supervision
• Clean walls, floors, carpets, and other building areas by mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and removing debris
• Empty trash, recycling, and maintain clean work areas throughout the project
• Utilize standard hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain cleanroom standards and follow site-specific safety protocols
• Work alongside other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
Requirements:
• Experience in construction, carpentry, general labor, or carpenter helper roles preferred
• OSHA 10 Certification required or willingness to obtain
• Standard hand and power tools required
• Full PPE required
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team
• Comfortable working in active commercial construction environments

The hourly rate for this position is $19-$25/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
