A seriously adorable, loveable companion! Leroy is a rescued companion and deserves a very special home with lots of love!! Leroy is a very gentle and loyal companion. He wants to be where ever you are and will follow you any where you will go! He is very quiet unless there is something to bark about. Leroy is fine with other farm type animals - EXCEPT horses! Leroy loves to bark and chase after the horses and not to mention LOVES rolling in their manure! Why some dogs like doing that, i'll never understand LOL! Leroy does pretty good with bath time, but hates the blow drier. Leroy is great with children, he is very sweet, gentle and tolerant of them. Leroy came very skiddish and I am sure he has a reason to be, but Leroy is very trusting and is a wonderful companion and best friend when given patience and love! Leroy loves to go for car rides and is really good in the car. He walks good on the leash, although he goes from side to side a bit. Leroy is completely crate trained, even though he doesn't really like his crate much. Leroy is potty trained, I think he is still getting the hang of holding his pee. He needs to be let out last thing before bed and early first thing in the morning and he does very well like that. Leroy likes his own little chew bones. Leroy LOVES his belly scratched and loves to sleep belly up which is hilarious! Leroy sleeps under my bed every night. Leroy is good with other dogs and loves to play! Leroy loves to be outdoors! We are very outdoorsy people and Leroy is all for that and never more then 5 foot away. He even loves just hanging out on the porch with us watching the sun go down. Leroy loves attention and is the best snuggle bug! He will be the cutest couch potato you've ever had! Leroy has been camping, shopping in lowes, been through the creeks, even gone to the park.. Leroy is all for a new adventure =) Leroy is a very special little companion! Very cute and sweet personality!
Leroy came to us in very poor condition. He has come a LONG way and is a very sweet, gentle, loyal companion who deserves the best forever home!
*** I would like to add that Leroy has a bit of separation anxiety. The best home that would suit Leroy is with a family where someone is always home or where Leroy can always be with his person and not be left home alone.
One of Leroy's ear's is scared from a hematoma. Leroy also has damage to his male parts, assuming by another dog. Leroy has been to the vet for both of these issues.
Leroy is now a very healthy, handsome companion, ready for a special forever home to call his own! Leroy is about 3 years old, he is a medium sized companion and is a basset hound, heeler mix. Leroy is an intact male.
