Exhibition buff Orpington chickens

I have for consideration beautiful and very healthy Exhibition Buff Orpington. These are not your everyday hatchery or feed store supply poultry. Exhibition Buff Orpingtons are a heritage breed of chicken bred for show purposes and known for their golden plumage and calm demeanor. Bred to meet the American Standard of Perfection, they are ideal for poultry shows and enthusiasts who value quality over quantity. I raise my own stock and hatch my eggs building my flock for the next season.

Appearance: Golden plumage
Temperament: Calm and friendly
Egg production: 150–180 medium-sized, light to dark brown eggs per year
Size: Hens weigh 8 lbs, roosters weigh 10 lbs
Personality: Docile and gentle
Broodiness: Excellent mothers with a tendency to be broody
Hardiness: Cold hardy/heat hardy

These chickens are show stoppers as they get huge and are so docile you can make pets of them. I have raised mine with a Tom turkey and a dog so they are well socialized. Mine continually laid eggs throughout the cold this season but I do not guarantee they will do the same with you. I feed my chickens well and make sure they are happy at all times. I have them available from day old to nine weeks fully feathered straight run only. I will stop hatching on May 1 for the season.
