I have three polo ponies for sale. Two of them are made polo ponies ready for you to get in shape then play. One has a good start to her and shows a lot of potential, but needs some finishing and play time on her. Or if polo isn't your thing they could start new careers. I these horse have been on summer rest, some have been on rest a little longer, I got them with intentions of being able to play again, but with a full time job, farm and kids that isn't going to happen so I hate to let them waste away.
The first is "Pixie Stick", she is a 9 year old thoroughbred mare. I will stick her but I would say she is right around 15.2 or 15.3. She has amazing movements and will do great in whatever discipline she does. She has a great start for polo, but would excel in anything she does. She is super willing to please and does what is asked of her. She is a fun, responsive mare under saddle. She does have a couple quirks that need to be worked through, she is girthy, but as long as you take the proper precautions she does fine. She takes a mallet well. She does walk, trot, canter, and flying lead changes with ease. She direct reins, and almost has neck reining down. She responds well to leg. I would not recommend her to a beginner rider or polo player. As of right now I would recommend her for lower goal polo. But she could with training could go to high goal polo. Pixie is Reduced to $1500

The next horse is "Caramel". She is about a 15.1 hand bay mare. She is in her mid-teens, the vet said around 14 years old. She knows her job and has heart. She just needs a little conditioning and could go right out and play. She can get a little excited but she has never taken a step out of line. She had over a year off and I hopped on her and rode her like he had been ridden every day. Her downside is she is a little club footed. I don't have shoes on her now and she does fine, but if she were being ridden more often she I would definitely suggest keeping some shoes on her. She also has the typical, I have been a polo pony my whole life legs. Lots of scares and some bumps. She has been totally sound all while I have had her. She is very sweet and very well behaved to work around. I think she still has quite a few years left of low goal polo in her. She has the capability of high goal, but I think she would enjoy lower goal better. Caramel is Reduced to $2000

***SOLD**** And the last is "Maddie". This little mare is right around 14.2 hands maybe a tad smaller. And she is beginner friendly push button polo mare. She is calm, gentle, forgiving and knows the game. If you are looking for a horse for someone who is still learning the game, this is your little mare. She does not have the speed to be high goal. And I think she is best suited for indoor. She would make a great lesson horse or if you are looking for a beginner horse for a different discipline she would be great too. My 6 year old who had never ridden more than on a lead line pony has been riding her all by herself and Maddie has been wonderful, has not made one move out of line. She is a safe easy ride. Maddie is priced at $5500
