- “Bear”, 2 year old White Dexter steer
- Chondro +
- was under 38” tall when last measured
- comes when called from anywhere, easy to catch, lead, load and tie and groom
- asks for attention and scratches and will rock back and forth while you scratch his back
- started on saddle training, takes a saddle easily and would be a good ground driving prospect
- would make a great pet, farm mascot, companion to a steer, BEER STEER or beverage steer for events, or would allow you to use him for seasonal photography or “cow cuddling”
- he is vaccinated as required for travel
- additional photos, videos, or a FaceTime session available to seriously interested parties
Bear was used as a bull for a season and then castrated but even as a bull he was extremely easy to handle. Because he was recently castrated we would appreciate a home with good animal handling skills. A “friendly” mature cow, while not a problem to us, could be distracting in the hands of a novice handler. He has worn fly masks, western and English saddles and cheerfully accepted a child rider for a short test ride. Will be handled and in training until he finds the right home.
