I have to make the tough decision and sell my ball python. I am moving at the end of February and I unfortunately cannot take her with me. I call her Lilly(Lilith) but you can call her anything. She 4 years in age, is 3.5 feet long, weighs around 4lbs, and she is the chillest pet around. She eats frozen-thawed large mice and is fed once per week. I have put a lot of research, effort, and money into having her as a pet and would expect her next owner to do the same. I cannot express how much I would love to take her with me and I don’t want to sale her but I have no choice. She will come with her enclosure and everything that I have purchased for her. She is curious and active in the night but usually sleeps during the day.
Her enclosure is a Reptizoo 2x4x2 tank and the has some customizations that I have made. Her tank is bioactive meaning very little maintenance and is able to grow live plants. The tank is equipped with water sprayers (to keep the humidity up), a ceramic heat emitter(always kept on), UVB bulb(I keep it on during the day), and has strip lights for plants. It has sliding doors in the front for easy access.
She would make a great pet for anybody who has been dancing around the idea of having a pet snake. I recommend lots of research but she doesn’t need much of anything as she comes with everything she needs. Just need to buy her food, which can be bought from any pet store that sells frozen mice.
