The Edge Pro Professional Sharpening Kit 4
Model is the fastest and most versatile hand sharpening system available anywhere. It adjusts from 6 to 33 degrees, and infinitely in between, with indicator marks at the most commonly used angles. The Pro 4 professional knife sharpener kit will sharpen any length blade up to 5 ¼" wide. There are a few key components of this machine that gear it towards commercial sharpeners, and genuine sharpening fanatics. The heavy duty vacuum base will stick hard to any flat surface, and has an adjustable work height feature that makes sharpening for long periods of time more comfortable. It has a patented ramp system that allows the entire length of the stone to contact the edge when sharpening, this results in stones that stay flat longer, and last longer. The front stone holder is also spring loaded which makes changing stones fast and easy. This kit also includes the Scissor Attachment. With 130 degrees of adjustment it will give you the ability to sharpen any scissor, hair styling shear, plane blades (up to 2 ¼" wide), any length planer blade, loppers, pruners, flat chisels, and most gouges. * Edge Pro Slide Guide - Professional Model
The Pro Slide Guide fits the Edge Pro Professional Models and provides 2 points of contact on the knife. This improves blade stabilization and allows quicker, more repeatable blade placement. One piece extends from one edge of the blade table to the other, while the center piece slides back and forth independently and can lock in to position to accommodate a wide variety of blade shapes and sizes. It works well by itself, but when combined with a magnetized blade table it makes sharpening on the Edge Pro easier than ever before. The Slide Guide is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, and has a .002" thick hard anodized coating to protect it from wear and tear over time. A high quality accessory to add to your arsenal of sharpening supplies. The Slide Guide is primarily used for blades that will be laid in one position and will not be moved while being sharpened.
*Edge Pro Small Knife Attachment
The Small Knife Attachment for Edge Pro sharpeners is a 2” wide, ¼” thick platform with an adjustable guide plate. Positioned on top of the Edge Pro’s main platform, it allows small blades to be sharpened without the worry of damaging the platform with the stone. The Small Knife Attachment also provides clearance for blades with thumb studs, increasing the flexibility of this versatile system.
*Edge Pro Guide Clips (3 in a pack)
Replace worn Guide Clips for your Edge Pro Precision Sharpening System.
Guide Clips slide over the steel guide plate of the Edge Pro Precision Sharpening Systems and provide a larger backing surface for easier sharpening. The Guide Clips also protect double-edged knives during the sharpening process. Especially useful when learning sharpening, they are removable for working on small blades. These Guide Clips are the same as the one that came with your Edge Pro Sharpener and are replacements for it.
*Camellia Oil Spray Rust Protection
Camellia oil is used to protect carbon steel blades and tools from rusting.
Our Camellia Oil is bottled in an 8 ounce container (245 ml is you're into the metric system). The spray applicator makes applying very easy.
