I live in an apartment, but the dirt calls to me. I want a summer filled with fresh basil and a fall filled with fat zucchini. If you do too, please reply!
About me: I grew up doing organic-by-poverty subsistence gardening in my backyard with my mother. I'm oddly passionate about bugs, and I know all the tricks to promote or destroy my tiny foes and friends without roundup. Hornworms shake when they see me approach from the generational trauma. My beefsteak tomato plants have reached my own height before.
I am limited in my transportation and means, so if I can't get to you, I may have to turn you down. I can walk up to a mile or so from the Vetra apartments, or use the bus to go further usually. Carrying a shovel that distance is doable for me but a shed on your property would be a godsend. I can use whatever to till the land- haven't gotten my hands on a hand tiller yet, so I may have to get creative with a trowel.
I'll provide labor and supplies. All you have to do is own the land and let me onto it once a week. Ill leave your half of the harvest in a basket on your porch. But if you want to help garden I won't say no! I figure a 50/50 split of crops sounds even?
Let me know what your plot looks like, where you live, and what your favorite fresh veggies are! :)
