This is a 1987 Winner 1950 Escape Sport Runabout Boat. It has not seen the water for 4 years. The boat as a whole is in great condition. The engine cover and rear bench seats were recovered and new wood and underside upholstery was added to them. The bench seat has one small tear from someone placing the captain's seat pedestal on it and can be repaired. No weakspots in the floor, just one small one in the front left seat that is an easy fix as well. It has a very nice tandem trailer with surge brakes. I have not been able to test the lights yet, however I checked all the wiring and there are no breaks in it and I changed the rear right brake/turn signal that was blown out. These trailers usually sell for at least $1200 but if I wanna get rid of the boat as well, it needs a trailer! There is one piece of glass that has been busted out and I removed all of the remaining glass from it. It is not a curved piece, just a flat rhombus shape so a piece of thick plexi glass or another pane can just be cut to size and it slips right in. The ONLY reason that this boat is not priced much higher is because it needs a block for the motor. It's a 4.3L V6. The casting number is 553 for this block. It is a one piece rear main seal non roller cam engine. I bought this boat for $1500 under the impression that it only needed a carb, and in the long run i got screwed over really bad and he was very unfair afterwards (he did not properly winterize the boat, so that's how I ended up with a cracked block). For the trailer and boat alone, it's a great deal and I may be losing money, but it's worth it in the long run because I need it, and I have a baby on the way in just 3 more months so I wont have time to mess with it. The engine has been taken out and COMPLETELY disassembled already with the parts either in bags or sitting in my parts washer to keep them from rusting. Everything in the motor was in great condition and there is practically no wear on anything. There really isn't. Also, the prop is excellent! So, with just a new bare block, which only ranges from $150-300. Depends on where you find it. Then just get you some gaskets and put it back together and sell it for a whole lot more if you wanted to or enjoy it for a really long time. If I had the time for it, I would definitely fix it but with my first son on the way, I know it's smart to get rid of it. So, for questions or if you would like to drop by and see the boat or pics, just call me at 859-559-7381. This number >859-351-2617< is the one that I originally had in an Ad but last Friday that phone was stolen from me at the movies so I am using the 859-559-7381 number. Sorry, if you have had trouble contacting me and for those who were going to call me a few days later to come and check out the boat. The boat is on Liberty Rd at my father's house and I have the bench seat at my apartment from where it was removed to get the motor out so nothing would happen to it from lack of storage space at my dad's. Also, I have had questions about trades. Just ask me what you want to trade for haha. The biggest thing that I am looking for right now is another motorcycle since I have a 200 mile a week commute. I never should've gotten rid of mine! Thanks very much!
Great boat at a Great price,
